All about your role:
Cater Care Services are seeking dynamic and experienced hospitality leaders for Site Manager and Village Managers positions at our remote mining village in QLD .The roles are available on various rosters, on a Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) or Fly in Fly out (FIFO) basis Flights, meals, uniforms and accommodation are included.
What this role involves:
● Management of the Accommodation reservations systems
● Management of site & all contract scoped accommodation and catering services
● Impeccable client relationship development / management
● Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
● Full financial performance and P&L responsibility with a focus on labor and food costs
Desired Skills and Experience
All about you:
● Exceptional administrative and computer/ software skills
● Accommodation reservations systems experience (VAMS, SAMS, RMS)
● A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and catering experience highly desirable
● Stable & progressive management experience within a remote environment
● A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
● A motivated, constructive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude
● Resourcefulness, resilience and enthusiasm
● Adherence to food & general safety practices
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
● Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
● Pride in personal appearance & hygiene

The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint 2 Full Time Permanent Mine Site Cleaner at our Mine Site in Burnie, Savage River, Qld.
Roster: 7 days ON 7 days OFF (Tues – Mon)
Shift: 0330am – 1530pm (11.5 hrs)
DIDO to and from Site (Savage River, Burnie, TAS)
What This Role Involves:
- Mine Site Cleaning – cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses
- Common Area Cleaning – emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
- Assisting the broader team as required
- Housekeeping Duties – room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed)
Skills and Experiences:
- Experience working as a cleaner 12 months +
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Medium Rigid License prefered, not essential
- Manual Drivers License MANDATORY Requirement (Drive In Drive Out)

Contract Estimator (Mining Infrastructure) – Day Rate | Remote | Immediate Start
A well-established, privately owned civil and mining contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Estimator to support two live tenders for mine site infrastructure works.
IBG is a majority Indigenous owned recruitment business registered with Supply Nation, specialising in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction and major project recruitment. We partner closely with contractors, engineering consultancies and delivery organisations to place high quality technical professionals. Our approach is relationship led and commercially grounded, built on practical industry experience and a clear understanding of how complex projects are delivered.
This is a short-term, high-impact role requiring someone who can step in quickly and add value across mining-related civil scopes.
About the Company
Our client is a leading, family-built contractor delivering civil construction, engineering and mining services across Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales.
They operate a fully integrated, self-performing model, with in-house capability across plant, materials and project delivery, and have built a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and mining projects across Australia.

The Role
You will support two active tenders involving mine site civil infrastructure, including scopes such as:
- Tailings dam construction
- Haul roads and access roads
- Bulk earthworks
- Mine infrastructure and supporting works
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for mining-related civil works
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Develop BOQs, build-ups and production-based pricing
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers
- Contribute to bid strategy and commercial inputs
- Work closely with senior precontracts and operational teams
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Estimator on mining or resources projects
- Strong background in: Bulk earthworks, Mine site infrastructure, Haul roads / access roads, Tailings or dam-related works (highly regarded), etc
- Solid understanding of plant rates, production rates and mining environments
- Ability to work autonomously in a contract capacity
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
