Farm Hand / Poultry Farm Worker – Baiada Poultry

Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable Farm Hand / Poultry Farm Worker to support daily operations on broiler chicken farms, focusing on animal care, farm hygiene, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feed and water poultry according to farm schedules
- Monitor bird health, behaviour, and growth performance
- Report illness, injury, or mortality concerns
- Assist with vaccinations and basic animal health tasks
- Clean and maintain poultry sheds and equipment
- Manage bedding, ventilation, and temperature systems
- Follow strict biosecurity, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Assist with bird placement, catching, and loading
- Support farm inspections, pest control, and general duties
- Work closely with Farm Managers and senior staff
What We’re Looking For
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
- Interest in animal care and farm operations
- Ability to follow strict procedures and biosecurity rules
- Reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or rotating shifts if required
- Previous farm or livestock experience (preferred but not essential)
