Riversdale is a family-run dairy farming business located at Rochester in Northern Victoria, milking 700 cows. We are seeking an experienced dairy farm hand to join our small team of long-term staff.
This full-time position offers stable, long-term employment in a business that values reliable people, teamwork and good animal care.
About the role
Working alongside our experienced team, your main duties will include:
· Milking and maintaining dairy hygiene.
· Droving cows between paddocks, housing and the dairy.
· General livestock handling, care and husbandry.
· Basic operation of tractors, wheeled loaders and RTVs.
· Other general farm duties as required.
About you
We are looking for someone with previous dairy farming experience, a strong work ethic and a practical approach. You will be reliable, comfortable working with livestock, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to animal welfare, safe work practices and clear communication is essential. Training will be provided for business-specific tasks and procedures.
