We are seeking dedicated Casual or Full-Time Poultry Farm Workers to join our team based in Sandy Creek (Barossa Valley) SA. The role involves various responsibilities essential to our egg production process, including egg collection, bird checks and maintenance tasks.
The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting, handling and storing eggs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and handle eggs within the designated egg collection room.
- Sort and inspect eggs to identify cracked, damaged or unsuitable eggs.
- Ensure eggs are handled and stored appropriately to maintain quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the egg collection room and surrounding work areas.
- Assist with general egg collection operations as required.
- Follow farm biosecurity, workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to perform routine tasks in a clean and organised working environment.
- Applicants MUST reside in Milang, Adelaide Hills or surrounding areas.
- Previous poultry farming or agricultural experience is preferred but not essential – training will be provided.
Please note: Egg collection is conducted within a designated egg collection room using the farm’s egg collection system. The role does not involve physically collecting eggs from inside poultry sheds or performing heavy manual labour.

- Hours: 4 hours per day, minimum 3-5 days per week.
- Remuneration: $33-40 per hour + superannuation
Pay: $33.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 22.0 per week
