Farm Pride Foods Ltd is a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange and a market leader in the growing, supply and processing of eggs in Australia. Our company heritage and industry leadership dates back to 1937. We are a major grower and processor of eggs and value-added egg products operating 9 company farms near the regional centres of Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, and Geelong, as well as maintaining 2 major grading floors and a processing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily care and monitoring of poultry (feeding, watering, collecting eggs).
- Cleaning and sanitizing barns, equipment, and work areas.
- Monitoring bird health and reporting any abnormalities.
- Assisting with vaccination, handling, and movement of birds.
- Maintaining accurate production records.
- Ensuring biosecurity and safety protocols are strictly followed.
Requirements:
- AQF Cert 1 or equivalent.
- Previous farm or animal-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, bending, long periods on foot).
- Comfortable working around livestock, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Please note: Due to our strict biosecurity requirements, you must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at home and be willing to maintain our quarantine policy and procedures. You must also not live with anyone who has contact with these species. Further information on quarantine and biosecurity requirements will be provided at the interview stage.
